Rituals of Water is a week-long ceremonial retreat around the purification and transformation of the body in the present state. This retreat is open to everyone who seeks to relate to their body as a sacred temple to open up the heart.
Meet your guides
Kena Acosta
Dancer by profession and Dancer of Mexican Tradition. She is an empirical midwife and perinatal counselor. She has been trained in various techniques and therapeutic specialties, such as Ayurveda, Massage, Polarity, Janzu, Herbalism, Dance and Body Expression, Singing, among others. During the Alagua Rituals retreat, she accompanies us to sustain and give birth to a collective prayer of harmonization in our Being of Water towards the Waters of the planet.
María Ornelas
Mexican aquatic legend for over 25 years. She received the legacy of the body psychotherapy in water: Janzu. Composing "the world of the depths" with the therapeutic art of meditation in water. María shares this technique as a key to access our individual and planetary memories, bringing the vibration of water prayers to several parts of the Earth.
Roberto Gopar
Oaxacan teacher with more than 30 years of experience, dedicated to the research of the effects that sound vibration has within human beings. Orchestrating a rain of vibrational frequencies with the use of ancestral instruments such as ocarinas, flutes, Mayan trumpets, Tibetan bowls, among others. Promoting the cellular regeneration of the body while the spheres of being in the water, expand in harmony.
You will learn the art of JANZU, the medicine that invites you to merge within the warm embrace of water. To reconnect with your mother’s womb and your inner waters. Integrating movements to help the bodies to stretch and reach absolute relaxation.
